Marcus Granqvist

I was born in Borgå 1978 and raised on Åland islands, Nature and handcraft was a constant influence growing up. I started as a sailor at a very young age, and later the interest in handcraft began growing in me, so i attended a small handcraft school on the islands. The knives I make follow the principle of the scandinavian "S" shape that invokes the Golden Cut, ment to be used as a beautifull, practical tool. I am now living in south Finland, Outside of Lovisa where i have a very nice smithy with history around it that gives me a nice boost of inspiration everyday.
